We use Royal Mail unless another courier or collection has been requested, tracking isn’t provided for 1st class or economy options. International shipping
We are sorry but we have had to postpone sending orders to Europe and Northern Ireland due to new, restrictive legislation that was introduced in December 2024, until we establish more information.
Orders shipped to the rest of the world will be posted using Royal Mail International Tracked and Signed (5-7 working days) ~ £14.00
Free delivery applies if you spend over £100.

Please note that VAT, customs, imports or duties may apply to your purchase and will vary by country. Since 1 July 2021, most goods sent from the UK are now subject to VAT and potentially a clearance fee. The taxes and duties applied depend on the individual contents of the parcel, the weight and the value.
The customs thresholds at which point taxes and duties, applied by overseas customs authorities, become applicable will vary from country to country and as such it is advised to check these with your local authority before sending. Amelie’s Kitchen will not be responsible for any customs or import charges that your purchase may incur. If you fail to pay any fees and your parcel is left unclaimed, it may be returned to Amelie’s Kitchen where we have no obligations to fulfil any refunds.

Working days is just an approximate guide, we cannot be held responsible for external factors affecting delivery times. Working days refers to Monday – Friday and excludes weekends.

We are extremely sorry that we cannot send to Germany due to packaging legislation in Germany at this present time.

Orders paid for using Paypal will be shipped to your Paypal shipping address – please ensure this is correct before placing your order.
All stencils have been laser cut in-house using Uk and EU compliant, 250 micron, food grade film and are intended for cake decorating use, however, they would also be suitable for craft uses. We use this level of thickness for longevity of the stencil meaning it can be used multiple times.
We recommend washing in warm soapy water and thoroughly drying before use. Store the stencils flat.
Some stencils may have slight yellowing around the cut marks, this is perfectly normal and is a part of the laser cutting process.
Some stencils, because of their intricate nature, may need a piece of tulle netting stretched over them prior to scraping royal icing through, to avoid any bleed. We recommend holding the stencil around the cake before using to see if this is a requirement.
The stencil may be cut down to size using a sharp craft knife or scissors. If for any reason any small parts of the stencil bend, simply cut off with a craft knife and continue using, the size of the part is unlikely to deflect from the overall pattern.

Pattern area sizing has been given on the listing, please email if you have any questions on sizes. Depending on the circumference of your cake size you may need to use your stencil to make a number of passes moving around the cake until you have covered the circumference.

Embossers have been manufactured in-house using food safe acrylic. We recommend washing in warm soapy water and thoroughly drying before use. Not recommended for dishwashers. Use and store carefully as some acrylic items are fragile.

None of our items are toys.

Refunds
It is our aim to provide complete customer satisfaction. If your purchase is faulty please email helen@amelies-kitchen.co.uk in the first instance with your enquiry and we will aim to resolve the situation. We do not refund postage costs if you change your mind about your purchase or it isn’t what you expected.

If you are unhappy with your purchase you have 14 days from date of receipt to let us know that you’d like to return your item/s, simply email helen@amelies-kitchen.co.uk with your complaint and we will send you return information. Item/s must be returned in their original condition, unused, upon which your refund will be issued by the method originally used for your purchase. Please note you will be responsible for covering postage costs in this instance.

In the unfortunate event that an item/s is damaged or defective in any way please let us know within 48 hours of receipt, and if possible provide photographic evidence. We will either send out a replacement or provide a refund for the item/s, including delivery costs, by the method in which you originally made payment.
